Salesforce

Salesforce built around your mission.

Whether you're starting fresh, moving to Nonprofit Cloud or rescuing an org nobody understands, you get a senior consultant who has also run a development office, from the first call through go-live and beyond.

Where are you starting from?

Three starting points, one clear next step.

"We're not sure Salesforce is right for us."

Start with a Salesforce roadmap. We look at how your teams work today and recommend the right platform, even if it isn't Salesforce.

You get

  • Interviews with each team and a written needs summary
  • A map of your current systems and the ones you'll need
  • A side-by-side comparison of CRM options
  • A phased plan with a timeline and cost range
Take the 5-question fit check

"We're ready to launch Salesforce."

A scoped implementation, built in short sprints, with your data moved over and your team trained before go-live.

You get

  • Nonprofit Cloud or NPSP, configured for your programs
  • Clean data migrated from your old systems
  • Integrations with giving, forms, email and accounting
  • Training and documentation for every role
See how a project works

"We have Salesforce, but it's a mess."

An org health check, then a prioritized cleanup. We fix what's broken, remove what isn't used and make the system easier to run.

You get

  • A health check of data, automation, security and adoption
  • A ranked list of fixes with effort estimates
  • Cleanup and rebuilds delivered in phases
  • Ongoing support hours or admin coaching
Ways to work together
What we deliver

The full Salesforce lifecycle, under one roof.

Implementation & Nonprofit Cloud

New Salesforce implementations, NPSP optimization and Nonprofit Cloud migration planning. Fundraising, programs, case management, volunteers and Education Cloud.

Data migration & cleanup

Move from Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect, Blackbaud or spreadsheets with careful mapping, deduplication and a test migration before the real one.

Integrations

Connect online giving, events, forms, email marketing, accounting and student information systems, so data is entered once and stays in sync.

Automation & development

Flow-first automation, with Apex, batch jobs and Lightning Web Components when configuration isn't enough.

Reports & dashboards

Fundraising KPIs, program outcomes and board-ready dashboards that agree with finance.

Training & adoption

Role-based training, plain-language documentation and coaching that turns a staff member into a confident admin.

Grantmaking

Applications, reviews, awards, payments and grantee reports in one system, with an online portal for applicants.

Program & case management

Participants, enrollments, services and outcomes, including secure case management for sensitive data.

Built by a fundraiser

Salesforce designed around the rhythms of fundraising.

Before consulting, Roger spent nearly 20 years in the development office. He has written more than 300 grant proposals, asked for major gifts face to face and run membership programs. Your org is built around appeals, renewals, grant deadlines and board meetings, because he has lived them.

Gift processing & donor journeys

Batch entry, soft credits, tributes and acknowledgments that go out on time. Automated renewal and lapsed-donor journeys.

Grants & major gifts pipeline

Moves management, proposal and report deadlines, and weighted forecasting so you can see next quarter's revenue.

Team & board reporting

Goals and actuals by fundraiser, campaign and fund. Dashboards the board will actually read, reconciled with finance.

From the development office

A few results from Roger's years as an executive director, grants director and development manager.

  • Managed $1.8 million in annual foundation and government grants as Grants Director at TransForm.
  • Secured more than $1.2 million in grants and grew the budget from $180,000 to $750,000 as Executive Director of Bay Area Wilderness Training.
  • Built the Climbing for Kids event, where 250 climber-fundraisers raised more than $980,000 for youth programs.
  • Directed $1.7 million in annual foundation and corporate giving for Yosemite Conservancy.
  • Ran six renewals, five appeals and two acquisition mailings a year for Rainforest Action Network's membership program.
Selected work

Real projects, real integrations.

  • Implemented Education Cloud with student and school-district partner portals, an online application, SMS outreach and document signing for a college access program.

Questions

What people ask before they call.

How much does a Salesforce project cost?

It depends on scope. After a short scoping conversation you get a written estimate with a clear budget, so there are no surprises. Smaller needs often fit a block of support hours instead of a full project.

How long does an implementation take?

It depends on how many teams and systems are involved. Your written scope includes a timeline, and short sprints with regular demos keep it on track.

Should we move from NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud?

Not always, and not yet for everyone. We'll review your org and give you a clear recommendation with costs and timing.

Will we be able to manage it ourselves afterward?

Yes, that's the goal. Every project includes training and documentation, and retained advising is there if you want ongoing help.

Do you work with small organizations?

Yes. Support hours and retained advising are designed for small teams with tight budgets.
